Formula 1 Calendar 2026

The Formula 1 schedule features 23 World Championship rounds at circuits across Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Middle East. The season started in Melbourne, Australia, and will conclude with the Abu Dhabi round in December. Twenty-two drivers from 11 teams take part in each Grand Prix, with points for the Drivers’ Championship and Constructors’ Championship awarded at every round. The championship calendar includes circuits familiar from the 2024 and 2025 seasons, as well as a new circuit in Madrid — the first Formula 1 round in Spain was held in September 2026.

The 2026 Formula 1 calendar features 6 Sprint weekends, with shorter-distance races and points awarded to the drivers and teams. Sprint rounds of the championship take place in China, Miami, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Singapore. Each race weekend lasts 3 days at the circuit: free practice, qualifying and the main race. Over the course of the F1 season, there are more than 60 sessions, meaning drivers spend hundreds of hours at the circuits.

Where Formula 1 will race in 2026

The World Championship rounds cover circuits and racetracks around the globe. The 2026 season began in Australia, followed by rounds in Asia and races in Miami and Montreal. After the break, the race schedule continues with rounds in Monza, Madrid and a race at the Baku circuit. The next events on the season calendar are Singapore, Austin, Mexico City, São Paulo and Las Vegas.
