The McLaren team managed to update only Norris for the stage in Singapore

Норрис очень надеется, что новинки, установленные на машину, помогут команде сделать серьезный шаг вперед, примерно такой же как перед автогонками в австрийском Шпильберге. Однако он признает, что полноценных тестов на трассе они не успели пройти и поэтому давать каких-то больших обещаний он не может. Должно пройти немного времени, и инженеры заставят работать авто работать должным образом и тогда уже результат на табло сам за себя скажет.

Вся команда инженеры, механики и пилоты прилагали максимум усилий, чтобы пакет обновлений привести хотя бы в единичном экземпляре в Сингапур. Эта гонка даст дополнительные данные и тогда в Японии будет доработанная версия на втором болиде. McLaren обещает что всех поклонников ждет несколько отличных и захватывающий уик-эндов.

Пилот McLaren также немного поделился, чего именно коснулись нововведения. В этот раз специалисты команды уделили внимание повышение эффективности машины во время низких скоростей. Необходимо повышать общую производительность гоночного болида во всех скоростных диапозонах.
