Nico Hulkenberg will join Sauber in 2025

In 2026, the team will be reorganized, and it will receive factory status. Hulkenberg will then become Audi's first driver. Nico, with his vast Grand Prix experience in Formula 1, will make a huge contribution to the further development of the team. Next season, the driver will not only compete on the race track, but also actively participate in the development of the first Audi car for royal racing.

Nico Hulkenberg already worked in 2013, and now he is again with Sauber, he says it is something special to be part of the Audi team. There is a strong school and team spirit here. Recall that Hulkenberg began his racing career with karting in 1997, and 5 years later he won the German junior championship. In 2003, he became the best in the overall championship. In Formula 1 in 2010 at the Bahrain Grand Prix as part of the Williams team and finished in 14th place. At the end of the 2010 championship, he scored 22 points and took 14th place in the overall ranking. Further on his track record were such teams as Force India, Sauber, Renault, Racing Point and Aston Martin. In 2015, he took part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans for Porsche, where he became the overall and LMP1 class winner.
