Gene Haas leaves NASCAR, but will remain in Formula 1

The team, which was formed back in 2009, has 69 races in the Cup series and two titles among drivers. These are great achievements that have not gone unnoticed in the small world of racing. Still, this community is very close, and every participant here is worth its weight in gold. She has 25 race wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and is the 2023 Drivers' Champion. However, management's decision remains unchanged – at the end of the year the team will cease to exist in its usual form. 

Stewart-Haas Racing is to be closed because the participants are simply tired. Judging by the statement of the team representatives, people have reached a certain ceiling in their desire to devote themselves completely to racing. This is a very difficult sport that requires enormous dedication, for which you don’t always have the strength, time and passion. Also, many Stewart-Haas Racing participants expressed that they want to devote more time to their families, and less and less want to take risks. Still, the risk factor in racing has always been and will be, and over the years, not every racer is ready to tempt fate again and again. Yes, and athletes burn out – this cannot be taken away either. At some point, you probably want peace. Adrenaline slides cease to attract, and one is drawn to conquer completely different horizons.
