Lawson will test Alpha Tauri 2022

Current Red Bull car Lawson drives at Silverstone. There are rumors that next season it will be Lawson who will replace Sergio Perez at Red Bull, and will move from reserve to main driver to the delight of his fans.

New Zealand talented and ambitious "Formula 1" racing driver, a student of three-time New Zealand Grand Prix champion Ken Smith – a member of the Red Bull Junior Team for several years now, and is still waiting for his time to break out of the reserves into a leading position. It seems that the time is not far off when he will take the place of favorite Perez in the team. Representatives of the Red Bull Junior Team urge not to overestimate the importance of the upcoming car tests that the New Zealander intends to perform. But the Red Bull Junior Team are clearly preparing to write off the favorite Perez, since he literally flunked his previous performances in England. Chief of Red Bull Christian Horner noted that Sergio is now at exactly the levels that ended in dismissals for Albon and Gasly. So don't underestimate Lawson's test drives – this is clearly a signal to who the team is betting on after the failure of the leader.
