An exciting sporting event awaits us on the Baku City Circuit, a city track that runs through the center of Baku and along the picturesque embankment of the Caspian Sea. The Baku City Circuit is an amazing combination of city streets and specially designed racing areas. Designed by renowned architect Hermann Tilke, it first entered the Formula 1 calendar in 2016 as the European Grand Prix, and since 2017 has been called the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Drivers race past historic buildings, through narrow streets and along the Caspian Sea embankment. The track configuration includes long straights for maximum acceleration and challenging sections with sharp turns that require the highest concentration and skill from the drivers. The narrowest section of the track runs through the Old Town and is only 7.6 meters wide, making it one of the most difficult and dangerous in Formula 1. Mistakes are unacceptable here: drivers must be extremely careful to avoid collisions with the barriers. The Baku City Circuit is known for its unpredictability and exciting races.

This year, George Russell, a British racing driver for the Mercedes team, will be among the participants in the race, racing under the number 63.
