The legendary Metallica will light up the stage at the F1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi!
Metallica will once again delight their fans in the UAE on December 6, performing on stage for the third time. Their first appearance here took place in 2011 on Yas Island, and their second was a huge success in 2013, gathering full stands. Now, more than a decade later, the legendary band is returning in December 2025.
Metallica is deservedly considered one of the most influential and successful bands in the heavy metal genre. Since their formation in 1981, they have sold over 150 million copies of albums worldwide. Their latest studio album, 72 Seasons, released in 2023, was highly acclaimed by critics and won a Grammy Award for Best Metal Album in 2024. The band is currently touring extensively with the M72 World Tour, which is now in its third year and is setting audience records, especially in North America.
Musical performances by world-famous stars have become an integral part of the atmosphere at the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. In previous years, such famous bands as Muse and Foo Fighters have performed on the Yas Marina stage. The success of these events is obvious: over the four days of the 2024 Grand Prix alone, more than 190,000 spectators visited the Yas Marina circuit, many of whom came to enjoy the grand concerts.
